Education at ECO-station !!!

We were really in our element for this event! Inspiring the next generation is a huge part of our mission at Visionary. He Ecostation is an educational rescue center for wild animals.

The crowd was out in full force with lots of people very interested in what was going on inside our eco mobile.

We wowed them all day long! Take a look!

Check out new music: The Crystal Method

Part of the band stopped by our store to pick up some COTAM (clothing of the american mind) T-shirts which they will be wearing on tour starting next weekend in Boston! So excited we could share the green with the music scene!

Visionary Mobile Day 2

Green is Universal

We arrived to Universal Studios early on Sunday morning and finally found ourselves in front of the huge globe!!! Today, instead of going inside to experience all the excitement of the movie industry and rides we are celebrating earth day! There are table set up all around teaching children and parents about what they can do to make a difference. We ran into Giles Marini from dancing with the stars and Nadia Bjorlin from days of our lives!!

At the Eco-Fair, guests can see how cookies bake in a solar powered oven, how a fuel cell SUV uses zero petrolium and is emission free, and how to "think globally and act locally" with Path to freedom. They showed you how anyone can have their own chickens lay eggs in their back yard or plant their own garden! EZ green bikes brought electric bikes to test ride and explain why millions use them for transportation. Even DJ REF came out to dj the event with all types of music powered only by solar energy!!

It was awesome to see how many different types of people arrived at the event to learn more about what they can do for the earth. The kids were excited to learn about planting their own veggies and cleaning up the planet just as much as their parents. It was an great event that was created to promote green awareness, effect positive change in the environment, and work towards substantially greening it's own operations.

Take your turn to make a difference !

The Visionary Mobile has Launched!!!!

Topanga Earth Day

"So tell me more about this Visionary boutique......"

"The outside is deceiving-it’s much bigger inside than I thought it would be!"

We had an amazing response to the launch of our mobile store this weekend at two earth day events! Everyone was shocked and surprised by the store. We had compliments and questions about the entire process to make our mobile eco store a reality.

It was so fun to see everyone's faces when they stepped into 'our world' to see what Magda had created with an 1966 airstream. It was her vision to create a beautiful and sustainable area for them to explore all the fashionable and earth friendly items. We were able to educate so many people on non-toxic makeup, wonderful children's shoes and toys as well as clothing and accessories for adults. We met an amazing crowd of people that were so kind in inviting us to all sorts of events so don't be a stranger and check out our calendar!?!? We are going to keep the eco-boutique on the move!

It was wonderful to start the day driving along the ocean to embark my journey to Topanga, California. I'd never been before, but everyone I mentioned Topanga to reacted with such excitement that i knew it had to be a magical place -- and they were right.

We arrived to a beautiful area for the earth day event. There was a main stage with live music surrounded by different vendors. There was a place for everything here. It was great because they had tents that said RECYCLE, COMPOST, WASTE.

I even learned some of the things that I use on a daily basis that can be put into the compost, like food and napkins, instead of the trash. There was live music all day and tons of eco-friendly products and lifestyles to learn about. I saw organic cotton shopping bags from The inconvenient Bag which are produced in LA. There were the eco usable ALL STAINLESS STEEL water bottles ( which you should check and make sure that your water bottle is 100% stainless steel and not aluminum). Magical face painting for kids with non toxic makeup and purified water.

Even though it was one of the first sweltering hot days in California everyone that came to celebrate the day had a wonderful time. We even ran into Josh Tickell from the FUEL film! It was exciting to see everyone being educated about things they can do (that are easy) to help keep our earth clean!!!
